چکیده
Forests undergo a long-term development process from young to mature stages, yet the variations in soil nutrients, enzyme activities, microbial diversity, and community composition related forest ages are still unclear. In this study, characteristics of bacterial fungal communities with their corresponding environmental factors young, middle, stages (7, 15, 25-year-old) Chinese fir plantations (CFP) subtropical region China were investigated 2021. Results showed that alpha diversity indices (Chao1 Shannon) bacteria fungi higher 15 25-year-old stands than 7-year-old stand CFP, while pH, water content, organic carbon, total nitrogen, phosphorus, sucrase, urease, acid phosphatase, catalase, biomass phosphorus other two CFP. The nonmetric multidimensional scaling analysis revealed species was significantly different three redundancy canonical correspondence indicated urease nitrogen main affecting composition. Our findings suggested structure inconsistent changes nutrients activities during CFP development, enhancing nurturing nutrient accumulation mid-development stage beneficial sustainable management

Soil microbial properties and nutrients in pure and mixed Chinese fir plantations
An investigation on soil organic carbon, total N and NO3--N,available microbial biomass C,N and basal respiration and metabolic quotients(qCO2)was conducted to compare diferences in soil microbial properties and nutrients between 1 5-year-old pure Chi— nese fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata)and two mixed Chinese fir plantations(mixed plantations with A/nus cremastogyne, mixed plantations with Kalopanax...
متن کاملUnderstory herb layer exerts strong controls on soil microbial communities in subtropical plantations
The patterns and drivers of soil microbial communities in forest plantations remain inadequate although they have been extensively studied in natural forest and grassland ecosystems. In this study, using data from 12 subtropical plantation sites, we found that the overstory tree biomass and tree cover increased with increasing plantation age. However, there was a decline in the aboveground biom...

GUO HC, WANG WB, LUO XH & WU XP. 2015. Characteristics of rhizosphere and bulk soil microbial communities in rubber plantations in Hainan Island, China. Phospholipid fatty acid analysis was used to investigate spatial variations in microbial communities of rhizosphere and bulk soil in rubber plantations in Hainan Island. Rhizosphere and bulk soil were collected from immature and mature rubber t...
متن کاملVariation of Soil Bacterial Communities in a Chronosequence of Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis) Plantations
Regarding rubber tree plantations, researchers lack a basic understanding of soil microbial communities; specifically, little is known about whether or not soil microbial variation is correlated with succession in these plantations. In this paper, we used high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene to investigate the diversity and composition of the soil bacterial communities in a chronoseq...
متن کاملContrasting effects of biochar versus manure on soil microbial communities and enzyme activities in an Aridisol.
Biochar can increase microbial activity, alter microbial community structure, and increase soil fertility in arid and semi-arid soils, but at relatively high rates that may be impractical for large-scale field studies. This contrasts with organic amendments such as manure, which can be abundant and inexpensive if locally available, and thus can be applied to fields at greater rates than biochar...
